About Kodaibaku
This is a special series of Kanazawa foil called Kodaibaku, in which no two pieces shine the same. Developed through a unique technique, this foil creates a distinctive and elegant gradation, and has remained a customer favorite since the brand’s founding.
Because Kodaibaku contains multiple hues within a single foil, there’s no need for elaborate decoration. Its simple yet expressive shimmer lends a modern flair while still evoking a sense of Japanese tradition.
Please note: Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans, so the shine and tones may vary—ranging from cooler, bluish tones to warmer, reddish hues.

Plywood products are highly durable, but not completely unbreakable. Excessive bending or impact with sharp objects may cause cracks, chips, or peeling. Please refrain from using knives or other sharp tools on the surface. This product features high water resistance due to the use of special coatings and waterproof adhesives. However, over time, water stains or lifting of the surface material may occur. Avoid prolonged soaking or immersion in water. Although plywood is relatively resistant to warping caused by age, it is still made of natural wood. Changes in temperature, humidity, and other environmental conditions may lead to warping. To ensure long-lasting use, we recommend hand washing only.
